HAPIfork is covered by a 365-day limited warranty.
Your HAPIfork (“Product”) is warranted by HAPILABS to be free of defects in materials or workmanship, under normal use, for a period of (365 days) one year from the date of purchase or receipt. This limited warranty excludes damage resulting from improper care of handling, accidents, modification, unauthorized repairs, normal wear or other causes which are not defects in materials or workmanship. (Please see our regulatory information for more on proper handling and intended use.) If there is a covered defect reported within the warranty period, HAPILABS will replace the defective part or Product, free of charge. The Product is provided “AS IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS”, and HAPILABS hereby disclaims all other warranties, conditions and the provision of or failure to provide support or other services, information, software, and related content through the product or otherwise arising out of the use of the product.
This limited warranty is in place of all other express and implied warranties of any kind, which are hereby excluded. In no event shall HAPILABS be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of the product, and any recovery is limited to the purchase price. No other person or company is authorized to change this limited warranty, and your dealer is solely responsible for any other additional warranties. The warranty extends only to products purchased from an authorized retailer of the HAPIfork.
This warranty does not apply to consumable parts and accessories, such as batteries, USB cables, USB plug, or travel cases.
A replacement part or product assumes the remaining warranty of the original Product or one year (365) days from the date of purchase or receipt, whichever is longer.
When a Product or part of the Product is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes HAPILABS’ property. Parts provided by HAPILABS in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in Products for which warranty service is claimed.
To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the Product, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to the address specified by HAPILABS. HAPILABS may require that you furnish proof of purchase details and/or comply with registration requirements (register to HAPI.com) before receiving warranty service. It is your responsibility to backup any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on the Product. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service, and HAPILABS will not be responsible for any such damage or loss. Exclusions and Limitations. This Limited Warranty applies only to the Product manufactured for HAPILABS that can be identified by the "HAPIfork" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any (a) HAPILABS products and services other than the Product, (b) non-HAPILABS hardware product, (c) consumables (such as batteries, USB cables), or (d) software, even if packaged or sold with the Product or embedded in the Product. Refer to the licenses accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to its use.
HAPILABS does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. HAPILABS is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Product's use.
This warranty does not apply to a Product or part of the Product that has been altered or modified (e.g., to alter functionality or capability) by anyone who is not a representative of HAPILABS or if the Product is inserted or installed in a casing not provided by HAPILABS. In addition, this Limited Warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with non-HAPILABS products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by HAPILABS or with improper voltage or power supply; or (d) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of HAPILABS. Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data are not covered under this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty does not cover the cost of returning the Product to HAPILABS; this is your responsibility.
No HAPILABS reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
To ensure you use your product correctly and safely, read and heed these warnings and the entire user manual before using the product.
Do not use the HAPIfork in other functions than originally intended.
Always remove the electronic key/module before washing your HAPIfork.
Do not immerse the electronic key/module in water or place it in the dishwasher.
Use a soft, lightly moistened cloth or non-abrasive sponge to hand-wash your HAPIfork. Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents, as these may cause damage.
Do not leave your product next to open flames.
Do not tamper with the product.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products and sponges to clean your product.
Do not subject the product to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature changes, or humidity. Never expose the product to direct sunlight for extended periods.
Do not tamper with the internal components. Doing so will terminate the product warranty and may cause damage. The main unit contains no user-serviceable parts.
The product is a precision instrument. Never attempt to take this device apart. Contact the retailer or our customer service department if the product requires servicing.
Do not touch the exposed electronic circuitry, as there is a danger of electric shock.
When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected separately for special treatment and not as normal household waste.
Your HAPIfork has a built-in battery, do not attempt to replace it.
Charge the battery in accordance with the instructions provided.
